Boralex, an independent producer of electricity, has taken the engagement to develop its activities with an absolute respect of the environment. Based on its international presence, the company manages thirty power generating plants representing 505MW of total installed power and producing 1,205GWh in 2005.

Boralex possesses a solid know-how in the installation and operation of wind farms. In France, six wind farms are at present in commercial operation.
Those wind farms produce green electricity and are eligible to RECS system.
